This is me and my boyfriend, with whom I haven’t been with very long (6 months), but we have somewhat of a past to us. We started talking again after 3 or 4 years around this time last year. It’s crazy to think that a year ago I just needed someone to vent to about my boy problems and now in many ways he is my boy problem. He’s currently in New York, in the army, which has been the easiest of our battles. Though neither of us are good with communicating our feelings well and I pick fights quite a bit, he is my best friend and the only one I’ve wanted by my side through all of the (mostly awful) things we’ve been through in our short relationship. I saw a quote that has really stuck with me, ” I believe in love, because I am loved by you”.

When we started talking I wanted nothing deep, and now I couldn’t imagine my future without you. I just want to say thank you for everything you’ve done for me.
