We met each other online around August 2010. I’m from New Jersey, and she’s from the Philippines. We have a lot of common friends in the Philippines but we never met when I was still residing there. I was the one who added her on Facebook, followed her in other social networking sites (Tumblr, Formspring) but never had the guts to message her.  =)) I was basically “stalking” her ‘cause I had a huge crush on her. =))) and then unexpectedlyyy, she noticed me and sent me a message on Facebook. :”> =))) we started talking almost EVERYDAY since then.  =)

Words can’t explain how happy I was every time I talked to her.  It’s crazy how things seem to have gone by so quickly for us. She made it so easy for me to fall in love with her. La la la… :)

I became hers and she became mine “officially” on December 27, 2010. <3 Despite the 12hr time difference, we would always find the time to talk to each other through different messenger apps. The distance reallyyy was a bitch, but we couldn’t do anything with it. -_- Time, communication, and trust were just what we needed to make it work.

We constantly talk about anything and everything. Sometimes, we would even have our “movie dates,” and we would read the same books. :)) I love it every time she sings and plays the guitar for me. :”> =)) I love talking to her until I can’t stay awake any longer. She often watches me sleep and it makes me feel so safe and secure. Her voice is the last thing I want to hear before I go to sleep, and the first thing I want to hear when I wake up. =)

I flew back to the Philippines last May 19, 2012. After a year and five months of being in a long distance, we FINALLY met each other for the FIRST TIME on May 20th (it’s a 22hr flight!) !!:) :) :)  

I got to finally touch her, hug her, and kiss her… I couldn’t believe the love of my life was right next to meee. =) DEFINITELY THE HAPPIEST I’VE EVER BEEN. :)

I lived with her throughout my whole stay there. :) One month together was all we had, though. :( So now we’re back to being miles apart. :( but oh well… We dealt with this whole distance thing between us before, so I believe that we could do this again. :) & I know we’re even stronger especially now that we’ve finally met. :) la la la… :)))

Sure, we don’t get to kiss, hug, stroll around the malls together, watch movies and dine in together unlike other couples out there, but it’s okay ‘cause we know that it’s not all about being physically together; it’s about that strong commitment you have with that person who makes you happy and content in a way no one else can despite the distance. I’ll patiently til the next time I get to be with her again. We know that it’s not gonna be easy, but we know for sure that in the end, it’s gonna be worth it. :)
