It’s great, it’s fine, it makes people float on air. But people really need to learn a different kind of love first: self love.

Stop looking at yourself in the mirror and putting yourself down, picking at that little minor pimple on your forehead or the extra inch of fat on your stomach. Stop flipping through the magazines, comparing the celebrities’ bodies to yours. You’re perfect the way you are.

So, amidst all these posts and submissions about true love and infatuation, here’s one that we can dedicate to ourselves. Here’s one that we can raise our wineglasses to and say, “Hurrah! Yay for me!”

If you can’t love yourself, how do you expect anyone else to?
